Assessment

The Racial Equity Capacity In Practice Assessment (RECIPA)

is a tool for assessing and improving individual and organizational ability to (1) ensure optimal workplace conditions for all employees and (2) ensure your organization’s products/services/solutions work for all users.

RECIPA measures performance on 5 core organizational capacities, and six core organizational practices. Results are broken down into 18 competencies and 40 distinct facets, allowing organizations to easily identify strengths and opportunities, and prioritize areas for focus, evaluation, and development.

The group profile visualizes the organization’s capacity in practice, as rated by each race/gender group, allowing the organization to identify and remedy any practices, processes, policies, and norms that aren’t yet working well for all. Comparative group profiles are available (e.g. your org compared to your sector/industry; your org now compared to last year).

The leader profile allows individuals to compare their view of the organization’s assessment with how the org rated itself. This can help leaders shrink blindspots and close gaps between their actions and their impact.
